Pasta Salad


Jalapeño Popper Pasta Salad transforms a favorite party appetizer into a creamy pasta salad loaded with bacon, Cheddar, and spicy peppers. Rich, cheesy, and packed with just the right amount of heat, it’s perfect for cookouts, potlucks, and picnics.




  Ingredients:
  • 12 ounces dry farfalle or rotini pasta

  • 8 ounces whipped cream cheese spread

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 (4-ounce) can diced jalapeños (with liquid)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 pound thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, cubed

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions, plus more for garnish

Directions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water until cooled; drain well.

  • Stir together cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, jalapeños, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl until well combined.

  • Add cooled pasta and toss until evenly coated. Fold in bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onions.

  • Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 3 days. Garnish with additional green onions before serving.
